Privacy Policy
The short version
- Lava Glow is free. It has no advertisements, no accounts or sign-in, no analytics and no tracking.
- The app does not collect, transmit or share any personal information.
- Your choices (colours, brightness, music and similar settings) are saved only on your device so the lamp looks the way you left it.
- The app does not ask for permission to use the internet, and it does not ask for access to your contacts, location, camera, microphone, photos or files.
1. About this policy
This policy explains how Lava Glow – Relaxing Lava Lamp (the “app”) for Android, with the package name com.raeesdevworks.lavaglow, handles information. It also covers this website. “We” and “us” mean the developer of the app, who can be contacted as described in section 11.
2. Information we do not collect
The app does not collect, and we do not receive, any of the following:
- your name, email address, phone number or any other account or contact details (the app has no accounts);
- your location;
- your contacts, photos, files, camera or microphone data;
- advertising identifiers or other device identifiers;
- usage statistics, analytics or crash reports sent to us;
- payment information (the app is free and has no purchases).
The app contains no advertising, analytics, tracking, crash-reporting or payment software. Its only third-party software components are the open-source Flutter framework and three standard Flutter plug-ins that run entirely on your device: shared_preferences (saves your settings), audioplayers (plays the bundled music) and url_launcher (opens the Privacy Policy link in your browser).
3. Information stored on your device
To remember how you like your lamp, the app saves the following on your device, in the app’s private storage:

This information is used only to restore the app the way you left it. The app does not send it anywhere, and we cannot see it.
4. Sharing and selling
We do not sell, rent or share personal information, because the app does not collect any.
5. Internet use and the Privacy Policy link
The app does not request Android’s internet permission and does not connect to the internet by itself. Everything it needs, including the music, is inside the app.
The app has a small Privacy Policy link in its controls panel. If you tap it, the page opens in your own web browser, which then connects to this website. That connection is made by your browser, not by the app.
This website is a simple static site. It does not use cookies, advertising, analytics or tracking scripts, and it does not ask for any personal information. It is hosted on Cloudflare Pages, and, as with any website, the hosting provider processes technical request information (such as an IP address) in order to deliver the pages to you. 6. Device backups
Android may include an app’s saved data, such as the settings described in section 3, in your device’s backup or when you move to a new phone, if backup is switched on in your device settings. That is managed by your device and Google, not by us, and we do not have access to it. You can control backups in your Android settings.
7. How long information is kept and how to remove it
Your saved settings stay on your device until you remove them. You can remove them at any time by clearing the app’s storage (Settings → Apps → Lava Glow → Storage → Clear data) or by uninstalling the app. Because we hold no copy of your information, there is nothing for us to delete on a server.
8. Children
Lava Glow does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children. The app has no accounts, no messaging, no advertising and no way to share information with us or with other people.
9. Google Play
If you install the app from Google Play, Google provides that service under its own terms and privacy policy, which are separate from this one: policies.google.com/privacy.
10. Changes to this policy
If the app changes in a way that affects your privacy, for example if a feature that needs the internet is added, we will update this page and change the effective date above before the change is released.
